Aoba is the result of experiments made to see whether or not it was possible to control the human mind, and he can do just that with his voice. This is basically the ability to enter people's minds and intermix his consciousness with theirs, thus giving him complete control over the person's pysche. That being said, SCRAP can affect people in three different ways, and they also vary in severity. This post is pretty much just to see what people are okay with when it comes to Aoba using Scrap, because he doesn't have complete control over yet, and may just accidentally break your character's mind if he isn't careful. Whoops!

STAGE ONE. By just changing the tone of his voice, Aoba can entice people to do whatever he wants. Typically he uses this to make more sales for the junk shop he works at, encouraging customers to get parts they normally wouldn't buy, and they end up doing so with much gusto. Guys, creepily enough, tend to get attracted by the sound of his voice, often wanting to meet up with him after they've heard him talk over the phone, but once they do interact with him in real life, they never seem to notice that he was owner of the voice they liked so much. STAGE TWO. Sometimes, all it takes is for Aoba to get frantic enough to bend someone to his will. His eyes will turn yellow, and whatever command he happens to bark out will be followed by people right away. It can be as simple as telling people to stop arguing, and they'll forget they even fought in the first place. Other times, if he's stressed out enough, the other Aoba will take over and be the one to call the shots. It's been shown that he's able to make people forget he was ever there in the first place.

STAGE THREE. If you think the other two stages weren't bad enough, wait until you get to experience having Aoba intermix his own consciousness with yours. That is, he can literally enter someone's mind and interact with a person's "true" self. He'll be able to see all their fears, their thoughts, their memories, and they'll have nowhere to hide from him. It's at this stage where Aoba is probably the most dangerous, because depending on what he does, he can break a person in either a good way or a bad way. It's a lot like the concept of inception, where Aoba can manipulate and change how a person sees themselves, how they live their lives, just by choosing the right words and doing the right thing. In essence, he can "destroy" a person's mind and remake it into something better—or something worse, if he's not careful enough.

That said, just let me know in the comments if you're cool with Aoba and his weird Scrap thing, and what stages you're comfortable with! Also, if you're up for the third stage, please let me know what kinds of things Aoba will be able to see in your character's headspace! It can literally be anything from a traumatic memory, or a surreal representation of who they are, etcetera. I can also poke you for future plottings if you're not entirely sure what to do with this right now. \o/ This post is mostly to see who's okay with what, and to see if there's interest in Scrap shenanigans because that is a thing I definitely want to play out at some point.

i would definitely love to do something in the third stage with you one day! cr-building is def. necessary for maximum tragedy/happiness?! we can surely work something out down the line. *u* especially if you want to deal with aoba's other self, who will likely be the one to instigate terrible manipulations.
